Friendbears Christmas II

Another year, another great party. 2015 marked the second annual FriendBears Christmas, a party Anna Jacobs' and I throw for our friends every December. Check out the 2013 invite here.

This year we wanted the invitation to be a little more tactile and dimensional. The invitation consists of 4 panels printed on triplex stock. We linked the panels using, of all things, red hockey stick tape, which is similar to book tape, but actually exists. (Red book tape is impossible to find.)

We hole punched the back panel so that it can be detached and used as a christmas ornament to commemorate the 2014 party. The invites were accordion folded and packed into individual kraft boxes that were stamped with our seal.

The illustration on the front cover was an incredibly lucky find in the Library of Congress photo archive, and weirdly appropriate for our ongoing joke that Anna's a polar bear and I'm a black bear.

I couldn't be happier with how these turned out. Cheers!
